Grades for this training4-11
Grades are based on the 2020-21 school year
43 Hoops has restructured its Fall Basketball League this year to reflect the uncertainty of tournament options due to COVID-19. Our primary concern is with the health and safety of our families and staff. Our goal is to provide a Fall League for athletes who are interested in developing their game skills in a safe, healthy, and positive environment.
This league provides a great opportunity to transition from summer training to your winter school or travel basketball season. Similar to our 5-on-5 Sundays, and our Fall Farm League, this league will emphasis individual player development and team play. We are currently planning to schedule games against teams from other top programs (like the MN Heat) depending on the risks involved with the spread of COVID-19. On a given weekend, if we are unable to schedule games against other programs, we will reassign players on our own teams and play an in-house schedule for that weekend.
NO TRYOUTS will be held. We will try to find a team for everyone who would like to play. If we are unable to place a player on a team for any reason, a full refund will be issued.
The first weekend of the league will be used to evaluate and place players on teams of 7-9 players. Teams will be formed based on skill level, not necessarily by grade. For example, your child may be a 6th grader but be assigned to play on a 7th or 8th grade team, based on their skill level. Our goal is to form as many competitive teams as possible.

There will be one 90-minute team practice/skills session each week (Mon-Thur) held at 43 Hoops in Hopkins.
The next four weekends will include 2 games per team each weekend. Games will be played on Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons. Sunday morning/afternoon games may be added depending on the number of teams. Each game will consist of two 20-minute running time halves and will be coached and officiated by 43 Hoops trainers/coaches, as well as the coaches from other clubs. Due to COVID-19, a limited number of parents (not more than 1 parent per player) will be allowed to attend. There will be no admissions.
To limit the risk of spreading COVID-19, teams will always play games back-to-back. On game days, each team will only be in the gym for two hours. We will then clear the gym for the next set of teams.
We want to strongly emphasize the DEVELOPMENT aspect of this league. This program is designed to help each participant become a better player. We will keep score but we will not be tracking each player’s stats during games, other than fouls.
In addition to the practices and games, each participant will receive:
- A dedicated 43 Hoops coach who will focus on fundamentals and skill development
- A reversible mesh jersey
Registration Fee $195
