Testimonials

When we came to 43 Hoops 8 months ago our 12 year old son Ben did not know how to play basketball. He did not know how to do a layup and had never had any formal instruction in basketball. The only thing Ben had going for him was the fact that he is 6’2 with some athletic ability and was VERY motivated to achieve his goal. We approached 43 Hoops and shared with Rahmeen Underwood that Ben’s goal was to be on the 2013 Traveling A Team with his peers. Rahmeen sat down with Ben and I to discuss the significance of this goal and worked to develop a program for Ben that consisted of Group sessions, Individual sessions to teach position specific skills, and most of all stayed within the budget that I discussed. Throughout the entire process, 43 Hoops worked to provided us with consistent sessions and consistent trainers that got to know Ben and built a relationship with him. The trainers provided Ben with feedback and homework assignments after each session that Ben could do on his own at our local gym. They were encouraging with verbal praise whenever they saw improvements in between sessions. As we got closer to tryouts they even coordinated some 2:1 sessions with some older players Ben’s size so he could learn Post position and rebounding drills. One of the first things Ben said when he found out he made the team was “Mom, I have to tell the guys at 43 Hoops, they will want to know as they have all been asking how try outs were going”. We HIGHLY recommend 43 Hoops for any player that is serious about his game and we will continue to go to 43 Hoops as we continue to develop during the season and in the off season.

Mina’s game has extremely improved and become unbelievably aggressive since training with 43 Hoops. We have obviously made a great choice in choosing your academy and are very happy with her results. It truly is worth the drive from Eagan.

Thank you so very much, May McKinney

Just a short note to say thank you for the awesome job your team did training our daughter, Ellie Henry. We joined Hoops 43 to help Ellie get ready for her Eden Prairie 5th grade girls basketball tryouts. The improvement in both her fundamental skills and in her confidence was extraordinary. We watched her ability and her love for the game grow in a very short period of time. Your staff, drills and conditioning were exactly what was needed to help her make the “A” travel team. We are believers in your program and have signed our two sons up to get their game right. We would and are recommending Hoops 43 to families who are serious about basketball.

Thanks, the Henry family

All three of my children (an 8th grade daughter,a 5th grade daughter, and a 4th grade son) work out at 43 Hoops and love it. The staff is positive, motivating and challenging to all three regardless of their differing ages or abilities. The ball handling and indvidual moves that the 43 Hoops staff teaches has improved my children’s ablities and motivated them to work on these moves on their own. Ben and G, in particular, have worked on my oldest daughter’s skills. She, especially, has benefited from the challenges of going one on one against other players of her skill level and at the same time being taught by knowledgeable coaches who push her to work on her weaknesses as well as her strengths. I would recommend 43 Hoops to anyone who has a son or daughter passionate about the game of basketball and wants to improve his or her game.

43 Hoops sets the standard when it comes to basketball training and teaching fundamentals to players who want to Get Their Game Right, and from our experience, no other training program even compares to 43 Hoops. From the time we first started with the program almost two years ago, they have made our son a better basketball player, but more importantly, 43 Hoops has taught him he can achieve personal goals through vision, commitment, and hard work. He loves everything about 43 Hoops – the staff, the trainers, the facility, and just being around other people who love the game of basketball.

I have three kids and they all have varying skill levels. 43 hoops has been an incredibly positive influence on all three. They have all improved greatly in their basketball skills which is what you would expect, however, they have also gained confidence and leadership skills that go far beyond the basketball court. The ability of their trainer to adapt to the individual needs of each kid, their personality and how to motivate them has been very impressive. Two of my kids have trained at other places and we did not feel like the results were as good or as far reaching.

We joined 43 Hoops because of a concern that within the travel basketball programs the focus seems to be more and more on games versus practice time. With limited gym time, the teams seem to spend less time these days on fundamental development. The program at 43 Hoops focuses entirely on the development of basketball fundamentals. They have a great group of instructors that spend quality time with all of the kids. The kids in the program are of various skill levels and all of them seem to be having a good time learning the fundamentals of basketball. We couldn’t be happier with the program, the instructors and the more importantly the results with our son. The true test for me is that there’s no pushing him out the door, he asks to go and genuinely looks forward to each session. I would highly recommend 43 Hoops to anyone looking to help their son improve his game.

Our twin daughters have been attending the 43 Hoops Academy for the past 7 months. Last year our daughters made the 6th Grade B1 Team. At that time, both made a commitment to work very hard to reach the A team in 7th Grade. With their determination we decided to sign them up at 43 Hoops.

It has been a great experience for our girls. The program teaches the fundamentals of basketball in every regard. In the first month I saw an improvement in their skill set. The program allows them to advance to higher levels of the game as they meet certain goals. This keeps them in a challenging program where they are continually learning.

In addition to a hard work out at practice the girls have experienced a lot of fun with the trainers. The trainers are a group of great guys that are very knowledgeable in the game of basketball. They know how take their knowledge of the game and teach it to the girls.

Both girls made the A Team this fall and I attribute their success to hard work, determination and their experience at 43 Hoops Academy.

Sincerely,
Jay and Heidi Rohe-Chaska
